The beautiful dream (follow the money)

This piece is to do with the contradictions associated with the rise of Capitalism in western society. In particular, this piece reflects the dream espoused versus actual outcomes; for, rather than enriching the masses, Capitalism has instead massively enriched the few. Amongst a variety of interpreted symbols popularised by the conspiratorial elements of the internet and pop culture (the Cross, the Masonic pyramid, and All Seeing Eye) are also the phrases, 'Truth, Liberty, Justice' and 'Follow the Money', both of which reference the lack of justice brought against the banking cartels; those largely responsible for our current era of economic instability. It utilises a photo titled 'Winter Palace' taken in 1933 by Samuel H. Gottscho, during the height of the great depression.
